A very unusual Burr Yew hexagonal occasional table

Of wonderful colour and unusual design, the octagonal top formed with a central star motif and radiating segments of well chosen and highly figured veneer, above a conforming base. The veneer of excellent quality whilst the cabinet-making is slightly naïve with an emphasis on the form of its construction. It is a characterful piece which has a warm and approachable feel rather than being a formal, stiff, piece of furniture.
